Pros
I loved my time at Airin. Working for a fast-paced startup building AI software was exciting; I was faced with new challenges and opportunities every day that ensured no two days were the same. I was able to wear many hats such as assisting our Fortune 500 enterprise customers with their projects, testing our Alpha software, and HR/admin tasks.
The founders were terrific to work for. There were open lines of communication, my ideas were valued, and I was able to get feedback quickly. The team was also awesome to work with. Everyone was extremely smart and driven to see the success of the company.
Because the team was small, we each played an important role and expected a lot from each other. Airin is not a place to coast through your career; it's a place for growth, development, and new challenges. That doesn't mean that we couldn't have fun. We spent a lot of time together outside of the office grabbing food, hiking, or attending social events.
I was offered a lot of flexibility, trust, and independence to work a schedule and location that was most productive for me. The office space in Park City was lovely, and we were able to see all sorts of wildlife out the windows.
My experience at Airin set me up with the skills that lead me to my current full-time UX/UI Design position that I love.
