Pros
You get to work from home with no commutte.
Cons
> Extremely STRESSFUL work! Mentally exhausting > Low pay ( below industry standard) > Negative, hostile & irate customers is who you will interact with the most. > Micromanagement to the extreme ( constantly ) > ZERO room to grow/advanceme in the company (They will lie to you there is room to "grow", -but if you get hired to work at the call > center, you will NEVER advance to any other non-phone role in the company.) > High call volumes ( hundreds in queue at all times. Non-stop calls through every single shift) > Quarterly bonus comes w/t unrealistic standards (management always looking to cut out as much of your bonus through bogus additional requirements. You'll have to really really sing for your dinner so to speak) > Tons of follow up (some calls won't be resolved right away, you have to do more work behind the scenes, thus aggravating the already upset customer) > Management does not care about the staff, all they care is metrics & stats > Cliquey place full of favoritism. Management favors select agents... > Always short staffed due to high turnover & people constantly calling in sick because it's such a stressful place to work. > Being forced to show up on camera even for a 5 minute meeting is ridiculous. If you're in your 20's and 30's and you like working for below industry standard pay and you want to end up in extreme poverty with little to no savings & a laughable retirement fund and no investments in your elder years... This is definitely the place to work.
