Pros
I met some great people while I was there. Unfortunately like me many of them are no longer there or trying to leave.
Cons
• The owner of the firm appears to be physically and mentally detached from day-to-day internal operations. He seems to have little or no idea which employees are actually making the biggest contributions. Therefore many valuable and very dedicated employees that don’t fit into the “good ole boy” club are strategically terminated by management using Reduction in Force. Meanwhile, “good ole boy” club members that don’t have a clue and not interested in working hard keep their jobs. The EEOC will have an easy time sorting this out. If the CEO knew what is going on I think he would stop it because it is affecting his bottom line. • Nepotism is running rapid in Aldridge Pite, LLP. There are so many employees that are related to each other that there is no way for family members to avoid working for each other. • Very inexperienced employees are promoted to manager. Of course this causes several employment problems. The most notable problem is they don’t have a clue how to manage people. Which often ends up in mistreatment of their subordinates including premature termination.
