I worked as Associate Director at Alliance School of Business, Alliance University, and my experience has been deeply disappointing and distressing. Despite completing my responsibilities professionally, the university failed to properly relieve me and illegally withheld my salary, arrears, and gratuity. Multiple follow-ups were ignored. Commitments were made verbally and through emails—but never honored. This pattern reflects systemic mismanagement and unethical administrative practices. The HR and senior management function more like gatekeepers of chaos than custodians of fairness. Processes are opaque, accountability is absent, and employees are left stranded without documentation or dues after exit. It feels less like an academic institution and more like a well-dressed corporate con game. There is a culture of intimidation and delay, where employees are worn down emotionally and financially until they stop asking for what is rightfully theirs. Professional contributions are forgotten the moment you decide to move on. Calling this place an institution of higher learning feels ironic when basic professional ethics, labor compliance, and human decency are missing.
