Decent benefits (ESPP, good 401k fund options but no matching, good health care).
There are some very capable employees that have a lot to teach.
Some lower level managers are very good and care for their employees.
Cons
The company is dominantly Chinese in culture and practice. It is a truly bi-lingual workplace where business is often discussed in Chinese. If you don't speak Chinese, expect to miss out on a lot of the goings on.
Not at all goal oriented. Butt-in-chair time is valued much higher than finishing tasks efficiently or optimizing work flows. There is a culture of "get it done now" rather than "get it done right."
Specs are often out of date or non-existent for some tasks. Fab systems are very old and the tribal knowledge of how to do certain things has been lost when other employees moved on. With the lack of training, this makes completing some assigned tasks very difficult.
I did not get the feeling that employees were valued. Skipping cost-of-living raises, lots of blame shifting. Even little things like using the building side entrance as the main entrance when there is a fully decorated lobby in the front.
