Pros
- consistently challenging, interesting problems to work on - huge upside potential for the world if the company succeeds. the mission really matters - really solid leadership team, with tons of transparency and limited politics
Cons
- way way more work than people, leading to some pretty tough prioritization calls. Not a place to work if you really need code to be beautiful and products to be gold plated. - As with all startups, the outcomes aren't guaranteed. Whether or not the technology and company actually work remains to be seen. - distributed workforce leads to some tough scheduling problems, especially across time zones - compensation is just average, although the equity upside is quite high.
