Pros
-Stability. In a CRO industry, it's almost impossible to get fired. -It is a good place to learn when you have little experience.
Cons
-Pay is really poor and not competitive, especially considering you work significantly more than contracted (40-60 hours instead of 37.5/week as contracted). -No raises or bonuses, and health insurance is expensive and honestly should be negotiated better due to the size of the company. -Completely unprofessional upper management that provide unsolicited advice and comments. -Upper management blocks applications for other positions within the company. Basically, if you're good at your job they want you to stay where you are, so they'll block your applications. -You have to be 100% flexible to work whatever hours but there is no reciprocation. You have to be 100% on site for whatever hours are necessary to finish your work. -Management has a complete lack of trust in its employees and constantly micromanages.
