Pros

Not any to speak of

Cons

Treated like I was a temp out of high school. Never given any bookkeeping duties. Quit after I was yelled at for accessing the employee center in QB while trying to explore how to integrate the timekeeping feature to produce timecards, instead of creating them manually in Excel, something I was asked to do. I've never been so mistrusted by an employer. I should throw in the transphobic jokes made on the first day, the literal screaming in frustration, and the general unpleasantness of the office staff to give you an idea of the culture. Calling the clients "r-words" and "b-words" is not a good look.

Pros

They did provide a company car which most IA firms do not. Health insurance started the week of my hire date.

Cons

I was promised during my interview that I would travel no more than 250 miles from my home. Yet every week I was given claims that were 450 - 500 miles away (one way). Also since part of my compensation was commission based on the overall bill, you would expect some variation between a simple roof inspection and a $100K fire inspection. But there was no difference. At the time of separation they contrived a bill for "damages" to the company car designed to keep my last pay check in full, which they did. The car had 39000 business miles and they expected it to be in show room condition. This was done to keep my last pay check and nothing more.
