Pros

Commissions used to be decent. Okay benefits

Cons

The company is severely in debt and has resorted to using fear/threats as a tactic to try to push you harder. They will broadcast your call in front of your whole team and make you say the things you did wrong. You will be squeezed and asked to squeeze every penny from every customer just to attempt to hit goal. So if you’re looking for a place that is truly sink or swim, has horrendous leadership in a dying industry come on! Also not that you will most likely be replaced by overseas employees. Should be renamed Altice International as the only US based employees soon to be left with be the corporate guys in NY that make way too much money to make poor decisions over and over.

Pros

People are generally friendly. The work I'm doing as an intern is actually impactful, and I'm learning a lot. I'm still a student but my manager has been very flexible with my school schedule to be able to work.

Cons

The onboarding had some issues with needing to submit support tickets to gain access to the tools I needed.

Pros

Competitive base salary, insurance, 401k, supportive team environment that is very structured. Company provided apparel that is trendy and comfortable along with all sales material, vigorously examined and memorized to allow for seamless communication at a 'cold' lead door knock

Cons

After your buildup period, the requirements for sales and contacts per day are a bit unreasonable for the area assigned. Rural area that had a VERY bad experience with previous provider associated with Optimum. Customers are extremely apprehensive to onboard again in winback territory, and this causes performance issues that keep you on the lower rung of sales representatives. Also travel is sometimes mandated along with personal vehicle use and no option for assistance with fuel or maintenance. Midday teams meeting to be Micromanaged as your movements are tracked by virtue of company issued devices.
