Pros

There are so many great things about working at AmTrust. The Cleveland location is within walking distance to the best parts of downtown including restaurants, parks, Progressive Field, the lake, bars and concert venues. The vibe of the office feels like you’re working at a startup. I have the flexibility to, for the most part, make my own schedule and set my own deadlines while balancing my free time. Awesome PTO & full benefits which is a nice change of pace from my last job. My managers and co-workers are nice, fun and personable. I'm excited to be at a company that has plenty of room for growth and matches your skillset to what you want to be doing in the long run.

Cons

It can be intimidating at first and sometimes stressful or scary to work in an entrepreneurial environment but once you get the hang of it, you won't want to go back to a regular work/life culture.

Pros

Co-workers are amazing. Managers are helpful.

Cons

Rolling out an incomplete new operating system was a horrible idea. Creates additional work for adjusters. The processes being implemented are hindering the ability to effectively close claims. Adjusters are being told to do more with less every day. Claim counts average 180 to 200 for the last 6 months with no relief in sight. Hybrid work was promised at 2 home and 3 in office. That was recently revoked and it is now mandatory 4 days in office. With gas prices what they are, that really hurts. Corporate management seems to be focused more on obtaining #1 status and bringing in the big bucks than finding a way to relieve the stress on their employees. Mental health is non existent and if you aren't putting in 50+ hours a week there is no way to stay on top of your work load. Even then you will feel like you are barely treading water. New NICE phone system is for call centers-not claim adjusters. Not a lot of advancement opportunities unless you are someone's pet. Benefits are mediocre at best.
