We’re sorry to hear you felt unsupported in some areas. Our company recently made changes to our healthcare plan in direct response to employee feedback—offering more consistent, nationwide coverage with improved affordability and access to quality care and doctors.
While Veterans Day is not one of our standard paid holidays, we do offer a Floating Holiday, which employees can use on any day of their choosing, including holidays we remain open such as Veterans Day. Our paid holidays include: New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
We’re also disappointed to hear that you didn’t feel supported by our HR team. We strive to make onboarding an informative experience through checklists, live orientation sessions, and step-by-step benefit guides. For those who cannot attend live, we provide recorded sessions and direct points of contact to ensure every new hire knows where to go with questions. During open enrollment, we offered three live benefit meetings, all of which were recorded and shared via our internal benefits website along with detailed email communications and reminders that explained the changes and available options.
As a family-owned company, we remain committed to supporting “the little guys” through free marketing services, tech setup, training, employee surveys to ensure fairness and employee voices are heard when updated health plans and benefits, wellness benefits for employees and their families, and personalized HR support.
