American Mold Experts

Is this your company?

If you're a positive person this is a great place to work. If you are negative just keep going....it's not for you. - Administrative American Mold Experts Employee Review

Pros

Great benefits for the size of the company! I just came back from my paid vacation(with more days left to use) and received a weeks condo stay right on the beach from the company for reaching my 2 year anniversary with them.

Cons

We are a small company so most of us wear many hats. It gets stressful at times (but I've had that in every job I've ever had).

Pros

Great company to work for. Lots of room for growth and wage increase. Utilization of green products for mold clean. Osha standards set in place for PPE. Safe environment.

Cons

Too much micro managing with upper management. (Owners)

Pros

Serving customers who need help

Cons

The owners create an extremely hostile work environment by calling each other names and yelling at each other in front of the employee. Not only is this disrespectful to the employee, but highly unprofessional. The hostility and lack of appreciation for the employee is a direct correlation to the high employee turn-over rate.

It is true there are times the two owners may raise their voice over differing opinions or lively debate over how to solve company challenges but to state that the entire company environment is “hostile” is a far reaching exaggeration. Yet not a surprising statement from employee that was let go for non-performance. Any turnover we experience, like with most companies experiencing rapid growth, is a combination of elements ranging from non-acceptance of change by the employee, non-performance of job function, or simply not being a good fit and making a conscious choice to move to a new opportunity. We celebrate with our employees that have been dedicated yet have an opportunity to move on and will benefit their family. We always want what is best for the person whether that is with us or somewhere else. So some people move on to more positive ventures, and others feel bitter for not experiencing a good fit.
