Powered by legacy growers and veterans of the world's largest recreational market, AmericannMade has made working in weed a total joy. I've worked for other cannabis companies, and in my experience, AM has been far and away the most communicative organization with an actual vision for its future place in the industry. Benefits are extremely good (dental included!) while the people who work here are genuinely passionate about flower and putting out a quality product we all can feel proud to represent. Best of all, I've never felt micromanaged--to the contrary, working here has been a priceless opportunity to exercise real autonomy while executing creative, unique initiatives.
Cons
It's a smaller company, and cannabis is a complex industry, so we all wear quite a few hats and we work hard. People who try to shirk their fair share or oversell their abilities don't last long here, so don't assume working at *this* weed company means you can slack off. But as such, it's easy to feel proud of your work, because you will quickly see the impact of your projects and the rewards reaped from it! If you like to hustle and take calculated but fun risks, this is the place for you.
