Pros

i was genuinely excited about the opportunity when i joined. the brand mission, values, and commitment to inclusion resonated with me, and there are some truly talented people within the organization. i met a few individuals who were kind, supportive, and great at what they do. the brand has a strong identity, a loyal customer base, and no shortage of potential.

Cons

little to no onboarding. unclear expectations. constantly shifting priorities. passive-aggressive communication. micromanagement disguised as feedback. a culture where employees are often expected to read minds rather than receive clear direction. recognition was inconsistent, while criticism was abundant. the marketing department in particular felt reactive rather than strategic, with limited guidance, coaching, or long-term vision. success often seemed dependent on navigating personalities rather than being empowered to do great work. if you’re looking for strong leadership, clear communication, and a supportive environment to learn and grow, this may not be the right fit.
