Great Company - Chief Financial Officer Angel MedFlight Employee Review

I am the only manager with Angel MedFlight; there is another review listing my title which is false and misleading. I have been with Angel MedFlight for a combined 8 years. They promote from within and foster growth in each and every employee. I'm a perfect example of that as I have gone from a claims specialist to team lead, to supervisor, and now Senior Manager of Revenue Cycle. Angel MedFlight finds creative ways boost employee engagement with March Madness tournaments, bags competitions, and shuffleboard tournaments. Even while navigating the everchanging pandemic landscape, employee morale is a main focus.

Currently experiencing growing pains of business expansion.

Get to work from home. 4day work week. Nice Office. Not too strict when it comes to PTO. Flight coordination team is helpful.

Training process is a nightmare. Its unclear on what your job actually is and what the expectations in your position are. They expect you to do the job of atleast 3 or 4 different people. You’re told this is a sales position but it is not. Management has a ton of experience in this very niche career field and do not have a lot of patience with you if you do not know how to do the job as well as them. Unclear bonus structure, they don’t break down what actually makes you money leads you to question how much your bonus will be each month. Pay is not worth what you have to put yourself through for this position, high stress, long hours, sad situations dealing with sick and dying patients. In front of a computer screen for 10 hours a day. Management knows this job is not an easy position to fill and just want to fill it.
