Pros
You're going to learn a lot You get to dabble in a little bit of everything I got to be reallt involved in the business of the brand felt more like ab employee than an intern I got to help with creating flyers, curating instagram posts, assist with editing the website and coming up with event planning ideas & sales pitches along with communicate with bloggers and small celebs
Cons
It's unpaid and Anne expects you to work as if you're on a salary, she even expects you to stay later than the usual 10am-6pm which I think is abuse for an unpaid internship Legally there are law requirements that define an unpaid internship to be a shadowing and learning experience except there's more interns than employees There's an extreme lack of structure I've never seen any of her paid employees take a proper hour break everyone just goes buys food brings it back eats it in 15 minutes and goes back to work like little slaves About that most of it seems pretty illegal, she lives in a small one bedroom apartment and the "showroom" is the messy living room and dining room of her apartment Not ideal working space, dogs are distracting Things seem legit until you really look into the details there's almost 28,000 followers on the instagram yet their posts only get 10 likes or less their social media marketing engagement percentage doesn't add up which means she bought over 20k fake followers which makes it really hard to work on any good social media marketing ideas when there's so many fake followers holding the page back There's a lack of structure and direction one day she wants you to research space for an event the next day she says no budget and gives you something else to do and then 2 days later changes her mind so it makes it very hard to get anything done
