Great work life balance and benefits

Not much room for promotion or growth

My manager was very friendly, reasonable, responsive, and hard working. In my day-to-day work I felt I was very well supported and given what I needed to help complete my work. I helped manage the website and the types of tasks and projects were changing all the time and I found the variety interesting. I thought the health and retirement benefits to be very competitive.

This is the US region for a global company (based in China) and as with regional offices there are a lot of top down communication and miscommunication as well as time and language barriers that can lead to frustrating situations. The bonus structure was hyped to me when I was hired and in my 10 months with the company I received very little bonuses - so do not account this into your salary expectations. I felt there was opportunity to grow there, but at least in my situation, I felt it would take some patience and maybe 2-3 years to move from a coordinator to a manager position.
