Pros

Going home at 5:00 pm on a Friday. This company was problems from the beginning. I received an offer one day after my on-site interview, and even this was a red flag because companies usually need some time to reach a decision to hire an applicant. I should've followed my gut, declined the offer, and searched for better opportunities, but decided to take it because I needed the money. Outside of going home at 5:00 pm on Fridays, I guess the only positive aspect of Aperia is their salary helped me to fund my application and travel fees for medical school interviews, one of which turned into an acceptance. Thanks Aperia :D!

Cons

Their entire product line, airhead managers, employees who can barely speak English, communication problems, worthless insurance policy, micromanaging business analysts, work during weird hours of the night for product releases, a ridiculous turnover rate (15-20 people quit/released over a four month period), no standard protocol for software development, laughable vacation time integrated with sick leave for new employees, ugly cubicles with the appearance of a prison cell,

They got some nice and hard working people there, but they are in not the leadership role.

No career development path Not even yearly performance review
