Pros

Cool location. High base pay.

Cons

As a company, they hire too quickly. Please research the evaluation, the company's financial position before you make your decision. They're very much into branding themselves but, stay there a while, the shortcomings are pretty apparent benefits - the base pay is high. However, health insurance etc are below standard. clique-ey engineering organization. not inclusive. Best idea does not win. The one that shouted loudest, or, put forth by the popular person does. some smart people but very oblivious to their own weaknesses. this is the first job for many out of college and they think this is the best place to work at. in a sample space of 1. And so, 1. they have a hard time retaining experienced people. 2. the general workplace interaction is immature to put it mildly. Might be a good company for first job out of college, but if this is not your first rodeo, best stay away

Thank you for taking the time to provide us feedback even though things didn’t work out for you here. While we are scaling rapidly, our hiring plans are heavily scrutinized and planned in a way to have meaningful growth. I also second your suggestion to check our financial position before applying - it is often a strong factor in why candidates decide to join. Your point on communication style is important and something that as a company we actively invest in (e.g, DISC training for all employees, Appian MBA training for new managers) to be sure that we promote an inclusive culture where all employees are given the space to provide input, but as you point out we should keep trying to get better and we will.

Pros

Cool office & perks, unlimited PTO.

Cons

My manager ultimately stabbed me in the back. Being a recruiter here is a trap. No one has your back, your are just an order taker and every stakeholder has unrealistic and unfair expectations. The founders have their hand in the entire recruiting process and it makes it so unbelievably hard. They want top talent but have not top talent pay. They are not flexible on RTO so good luck.

Thank you for sharing your perspective and highlighting our employee perks. We acknowledge your feedback regarding the recruiting process, stakeholder alignment, and our Return-to-Office guidelines. Providing a supportive environment where expectations are clear and fair is something we hold ourselves accountable to every day. While our commitment to an in-person workplace is rooted in building strong collaboration and connection across our teams, we are equally focused on ensuring our leaders have the tools and training necessary to support every department. We appreciate you taking the time to help us look for ways to improve.
