Pros
I really like working at Applause. I feel like I get to see an impact of the product on our customers - and it's refreshing to work somewhere where that is the case. It's also exciting to work in a place where your work is seen and valued. Applause doesn't just talk the talk, they really try to embody employee recognition. We use our software internally to help recognize people that do good work. The company is also very transparent - everyone feels like they can ask questions and get a very real answer. The executive team is approachable and the team at large is very collaborative, encouraging, and easy to work with. The hiring process is throrough - allowing us to hire the right people for the job function. Our recruiting team does a great job and the recruiter I met with was one of the best I've ever encountered. It's a remote-first company, so you get to work with a lot of talent across the globe. The company does a great job of making people feel like they are included/involved even when we are spread out. Overall, I love working here and I'd recommend it. You'll learn new things, your growth will be fostered, and you can feel like you make a direct impact.
Cons
The only con is that I'd love to have 2 off-sites a year. Currently, the company does 1 per year. I think it's great when you can meet people face-to-face. It helps energize the team.
