Pros

Getting to know guests from all over the world. Working with the small handful of employees who are honest and hard-working.

Cons

Some people in the hospitality industry actually care about guest satisfaction. When ownership and management only care about how much money is going into their bank accounts, ultimately the customer loses. This makes work very difficult for the staff workers who truly want to do a good job.

Pros

The team and supervisors were awesome. We all worked together to make sure we could be successful.

Cons

I worked at Crowne Plaza PTC. The manager never supported me only pretended. Quick to throw team members under the bus. The general manager plays favorites. Never felt supported except by two of my supervisors. Upper managers do not defend staff with customers who they know are irate and toxic. I saw them do it once, only because they were being attacked. They are afraid of the owners. Who seem actually nice and seem to care about retention and people there. The managers and GM honestly need more training on how to work with their teams. I liked working there aside from the unprofessionalism at times and favoritism.

Pros

Good free food, the place is like a family, definitely have the potential to learn everything in hospitality in one location

Cons

Arrogant leadership, uncooperative dept. Heads, no HR dept. No hiring process to weed out bad apples. Wild wild west mentality
