If you want hands-on experience in a product-based company using the latest tech stack, this is the right place. The company offers good salary, bonuses, and overall compensation. Expect a steep learning curve. For Aqua Security roles, you need basic to intermediate cloud knowledge, good understanding of security and vulnerabilities, and strong Kubernetes/Docker skills. Most of the work is cloud-focused.
Cons
Management is chaotic and lacks clear direction. They reorganize every three months and sometimes lay off employees who joined just weeks earlier. From top to bottom, leadership decisions feel unstable and inconsistent. Although the product is world-class and one of the best in cloud security, the current leadership CEO Mike Dube —especially after the major changes in October 2025—is more focused on satisfying investors than strengthening the company. They are even cutting down strong product areas. If you're looking for stability, this is not the place to join. Aqua today is not what it used to be, and the direction seems to be heading toward acquisition.
