Pros

You have the opportunity to learn different skills. Oh, and you get a free copy of "The Elements of Style". I learned a lot there that I've taken to another agency and thrived. The pay is pretty on par with a decent rural job, but if you live in the city the compensation probably won't cut it. Also, the benefits are pretty on par with what similar sized agencies offer so it's not really that big of a deal. It's the price you pay for agency life.

Cons

There can be, like most offices, a dash of passive-aggressiveness. Sometimes there's more than a dash, and it seems to stem from management's paranoia. There's just a general lack of trust between the parties.

Pros

Artonic is a shining example of a work environment that values their employees. As a rapidly growing agency, opportunities for advancement and education abound! Doing the right thing for employees and for clients is always the first priority of management. I have worked in several marketing organizations including other agencies, corporations, and higher education institutions and this is by far the place with the best vision for the future. The team enjoys an open-door policy with management (everyone's opinion counts), flexible work schedules, a casual office environment, and tons of fun, team building activities. Those that work hard are always recognized and rewarded.

Cons

As with any expanding business, Artonic is experiencing some growing pains. The number of team members has nearly doubled in the last year proving the need for more structure. Management has recognized this and put into motion a plan beautifully, however change is difficult for some people. Additionally, there is not a group healthcare plan available. Understandably, this may be a concern for some but in my experience each person interviewed for a position with Artonic is made aware of that fact. If they must purchase healthcare on their own, management takes that into consideration in the employment offer. The only other con is that this business is in an ever-changing industry! This is not a place where you come in, do your tasks, and go home. This is an exciting, evolving agency where everyone contributes to the agency's success.
