Pros

Some people here are great to work with. Clean lab.

Cons

I'll start with small cons first: Ant infestation in the breakroom. Low base pay. Drama in almost every department if not all. This company favors 'nepotism' Some major cons: Upper management is terrible at their job when it comes to managing people. HR is shady when it comes to employees making complaints about management. Training is extremely prolonged when it doesn't need to be. It seems that the manager lies to their uppers when informing them where employees are in their training when in reality they haven't progressed because of manager. This company purposefully leaves out that the MLA position is per diem on the job description and does not tell you until the end of your interview. Adding on to the 'per diem' status, they hire every MLA as per diem to avoid offering health insurance and other benefits. They claim not to do so, but per diems are scheduled for 40+ hours a week, with no benefits. They have an unqualified person as a manager when the manager is required to have a CLS license in other departments. Said manager has created a hostile and toxic work *environment* and upper management has worked with each other for years so it is suspected that they turn a blind eye to this manager's style of management. (Even after numerous complaints made about this manager in previous years). If you are a new grad interested in the clinical lab field, avoid this company. There are better ones out there that will treat you better and not have you trauma bonded with your fellow new grad colleagues
