Pros
In an insurance industry that is often hidebound by conservatism or bureaucracy, Assurant is a dynamic organisation in a fast-growing sector that offers insurance products that people often genuinely need.
Cons
Can be chaotic & a challenge to get your projects given time and resource given the fast moving nature of the business, and an occasionally arbitrary nature of resource allocation. Staff training is negligible, salary reviews non-existent. Sometimes a case of who shouts loudest gets the most attention, which is a shame as there are some really talented, meticulous people trying to hold projects together under very trying circumstances.
