Pros
There are a number of wonderful things about Assurant. People work hard and care a great deal about what they deliver. They are often willing to work long hours to get things done. In general, the value of common decency and common sense are up held.
Cons
People want to do the right thing and contribute, however, poor decision making frameworks and internal processes don't enable people. It can take a LONG time to get decisions made, especcially when working across all lines of business. Highly matrixed organization w little to /no clear ownership of key business decisions.
