Pros

Flexible schedule and wfh. Competitive compensation.

Cons

Claim system is from the Stone Age, it’s not intuitive and very cumbersome. Claims is a face paced environment and the ICE system needlessly makes claims handling more difficult. You’re given a workload that could never be completed within a 50 hour work week. Weekly projects in addition to the claims workload, these projects are not an efficient use of our time and do not add value to our work processes. Metrics reporting is incorrect, when this is pointed out to management they acknowledge it but refuse to make any changes. Despite the fact that our raises are based on these metrics. If you question management or processes then you are met with hostility. They see you as less than and ensure your know it. They rely on referrals for new talent, then advise you were only hired because you were referred and not based on your own merits.

Pros

Remote work across all lines of business allows for a flexible work environment

Cons

There is almost no opportunity for growth. The company laid off quite a few employees recently as part of a planned reduction in force while also reporting its highest quarterly earnings. There's no loyalty to tenured employees.
