Pros

Benefits can be nice. Work from home. Some management is good to work with. Practically almost impossible to get fired. Have caught co workers cursing at callers and still have retained their job with nothing more than a slap on the wrist.

Cons

Higher ups believe ANY claims adjuster can handle ANY claim. So automotive adjuster can understand and handle an RV claim or Auto can handle a motorcycle claim or any mix therein. Management will promote people that obviously have no business being promoted and the people that should have been promoted often times are passed over for ridiculous reasons. Burn out quicky due to workload and mediocre pay. Not much oportunity to move up. Low cost of living increase. No matter if you do good or bad its the same increase for EVERYONE. Depending on company annual goals they may be generous with a 5% raise or only allow 3% raise. Even though the inflation rate is double or more for that year. People that do an obviously poor job are not dealt with properly.

Pros

Remote work across all lines of business allows for a flexible work environment

Cons

There is almost no opportunity for growth. The company laid off quite a few employees recently as part of a planned reduction in force while also reporting its highest quarterly earnings. There's no loyalty to tenured employees.
