Pros

They have good benefits if you compare with informal companies, they have the basics and a little bit more

Cons

Even if you're lucky to have great coworkers, the toxic culture fostered by upper management overshadows everything. Some leaders expect you to work nights or beyond your pay grade simply because "it's a big company." If you face issues with health insurance, taxes, workplace harassment, or anything serious, don't count on HR, good luck on complaining, they are ineffective and unresponsive. Career growth is virtually nonexistent. The only way to advance is by transferring to another Amazon company or having a close relationship with the main leader. You'll likely be hired and paid as a Support Engineer but end up doing full-on Software Development work, with no recognition or fair compensation. Despite some leadership changes at Audible, the main decision-maker remains the same, so the office culture of favoritism and nepotism is likely to persist, even if you direct manager tries to help you, is highly possible that they won't be able to help and even if you try to contact higher bosses is possible that nothing will change.

Pros

Audible is an Amazon company. I think as a whole, this company attracts people who are kind and fun spirited. Good product.

Cons

Disorganisation. Commute can be hard.

Pros

Your hours are very flexible as you just have to submit the first 15 minutes of the book by a certain date and then the final audiobook by a certain deadline.

Cons

This was a royalty share contract with no base pay and I only made about $70 total after many hours of work.
