Pros

pay is good if you can put up with rediculous management.

Cons

Forced annual leave when it suits them. Forced to go part time when it suits them. Forced to do never ending courses on computer that are 100 % irrelevant to the job just to keep your job. For example , aboriginal culture awareness course and domestic abuse course ?????? No recognition for good work practices , ethics or loyalty , you are nothing but a number. Those who are female , aboriginal or gay are treated better and get away with more than any white male heterosexual. Employ only women or aboriginals regardless of ability , suitability , experience or even inteligence which is evident when trying to communicate with all office staff and management. Basically have to tell them how to do their job on a daily basis.

Pros

Good pay. Good mates. Not a bad career.

Cons

Slow for change to happen. Same issues never get fixed

Pros

The pay was good when you didn't have to fight with management about your entitlements and allowances

Cons

Profits and bums on seats are prioritised over safety. Appalling safety record. No support. Micro managing leaders. Managers are selected by how many boxes they can tick rather than experience and capability. No promotion from with in. Dare to speak up about safety issues and you just get shot down
