Pros
Company is trying to do a great thing. Executives communicate visions and direction clearly. Actively engaging with employees through weekly all-hands.
Cons
Gap between what they try to do vs. the resource limitation cause a lot of stress on employees. It seems like the company is trying to do everything at once. Haven't seen mid managers with decent experiences and there are many very high skilled senior ICs who probably have a lot more experiences than mid managers. Lack of diversity also adding to the company culture that is very top-down, and male dominant. The level of unconscious bias here is very hight. Women and women don't seem to support each other very well either because they are trying to survive in this culture individually. People talk over each other a lot during the meeting, and decision is made top-down or none of the credit goes to the ICs who contributed to the meeting, so there are many cases ICs starts to be quiet and less proactive. Lack of career growth, so if you are motivated with your career, it might not be the right place. If you are more comfortable executer being told what to do, probably this is the right place for you.
