Pros
Top management and fellow nursing staff have been mostly friendly and helpful with a team spirit approach to caregiving. When I had concerns they were responded fairly quickly and with understanding and evenhandedness.
Cons
These past three years have been more difficult due to cost cutting by eliminating almost 1/4 of the nursing staff. Also, benefits have declined while taking more out of paycheck. Annual pay increases for good reviews average 25 cents/ hr. We bear a heavy work load causing morale to decline and accidents to increase.
