After my time there I was promised backpay per the renewed union contract for 2024. Due to Avamere dragging there feet on signing the contract was signed 09/2024 but retroactive to 05/2024. Avamere knowingly committed wage theft by not paying myself and many others their retro pay. There has been so much grief over it the union will be adding verbiage to the next contract to cover this kind of situation, and advise I file a claim with BOLI. Management forges the DHS staff to resident ratio regularly and often has state in the building due to the amount of falls occurring in their buildings.
