      Pros

      I met some pretty cool co-workers along the way when they weren't getting laid off to retain the bloated hierarchy of VPs. (How many VP's can one division have? ???)

      Cons

      Management always pushing to close business the WRONG way - definitely not based on value but by throwing a higher discount at the deal. Also, the build&hold program was a Sarbanes-Oxley violation just brewing.

      If you value stability and job security, this is the place to be. Avnet benefits from all the business being routed in from semiconductor companies. Good work life balance.
