Pros

Employees are allowed to provide feedback on improvement opportunities. You feel like you are part of the company by being involved in some decision making. It's an ESOP so you're told you're an owner and your work contributes to the success of the entire organization.

Cons

No formal KPI's are tracked and followed. Sales, Recruiting, and Leadership is in constant disarray. Senior Leadership fails to train and develop the people they bring in. There is no room for growth or advancement. They do not give pay increases based on performance. You're told you are valued but then they do nothing to show you that you're actually valued. They promote based on if you have a good relationship with the executive team.

Pros

Very nice placements at first glance. Hours were reasonable. Pay was great. The work itself was very doable - even looked into an opening that came available the second time I was placed in the same agency. It seemed like a great opportunity.

Cons

The agency I was placed with had unreasonable expectations - they seemed to want their legal secretaries to be mind-readers. And no document was ever done to satisfaction, regardless of the number of editing changes made and then undone and then made again. That was all fine - probably to be expected in fast-paced, high-demand environment. The last straw was the lack of empathy or consideration for single parents. When a child gets strep throat, they cannot be taken to daycare. They cannot attend school. They need to be home. And if the parent is the only available caregiver, there needs to be allowances made. Seriously, it isn't the end of the world and should not be the end of the placement to miss two days - with following proper protocol for calling in, etc.
