Pros

I have worked at Axis for many years in many different roles. I can say that I really do have a great job and career. I have always had fantastic support from colleagues and managers. The strong company culture, openness, fairness and transparency really makes this a great company to be part of. You are given all the freedom and autonomy that you need in order to complete your work and there are always new challenges and exciting challenges around the corner. I can safely say that I have never had a day where I have not enjoyed working in this company with such fantastic employees. A consistent and ethical management team set the tone from top to bottom while at the same time not resting on their laurels, always humble and approachable with everyone regardless of position or title. There are minimal politics or personal agendas with managers or leaders which allows everyone to participate in an open honest feedback centered environment. Long may it last.

Cons

Consensus driven culture needs to be sometimes balanced with an awareness of the necessity for speed in the market. Making the right decision is important but sometimes take calculated risks is advisable.

Pros

Management is very supportive and will encourage you to grow both in your role and the company. There are a lot of travel opportunities especially in sales. Inside sales takes on a lot of responsibilities with customers and your regional sales managers giving opportunities to grow leadership skills.

Cons

Inside sales does not make as much as outside sales. Depending on location, it can be tough to transition to new roles.
