Pros

Azendo is a good starting point for recent graduates looking for their first job or wanting to work abroad. There are plenty of opportunities to gain experience and have positive experiences overall.

Cons

At Azendo, employees often feel like they're seen only as workers. There's too much focus on attracting new customers and employees rather than supporting current ones. This includes not just the low salary, which is nearly impossible to increase, but also outdated equipment like computers, chairs, and screens. Because of the low pay, Azendo struggles to hire experienced staff, often bringing in newcomers who need extensive training. When these employees are presented as "specialists" to clients, I really feel like the clients are being lead on. The fact that the CEO is involved in trying to boost their Glassdoor score by giving themselves a top rating is a very good example of how delusional the company is.

Pros

It's a great adventure to go to Thailand and the company provide you with the necessary paperwork for visa and workpermit (bachelor’s degree required). Chiang Mai is a nice and quiet city with many sightseeing opportunities. You can work as a telemarketing salesperson by day and then be a tourist by night! :) My short time in Chiang Mai was overall very exciting and I recommend the experience to anybody who meet the visa requirements and desire an open-ended tropical adventure. Azendo is LGBT+ friendly and you will probably meet many interesting people there. They also make great efforts to accommodate employees with various challenges. There's no language barrier as all foreigners are Danish and the Thais speak English.

Cons

The office is located in Chiang Mai, which is one of the most polluted cities in the World, at times ranking as THE #1 most air polluted city, surpassing even Bangkok and Beijing. Tourist advertisements don't speak much of this. The tab water is full of pathogens which is the reason it is also given so much chlorine, in addition to its own mix of waste chemicals from the ground water. Although the weather in the northern region is rather cool compared to the rest of Thailand, Chiang Mai can be a good tourist destination, but you should not stay there for a long term job, especially not if you have respiratory issues. Sometimes there are floods in the area around and even inside the office. The stench of sewage afterwards is terrible.
