Dear colleague, thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, we hear a lot of dissatisfaction from your review and we are very sorry about that. No one should have these experiences with an employer. Nevertheless, it is important to us to clearly distance ourselves from some points. We live diversity! At our international #BASFHubBerlin, we design business services for the entire EMEA region, which is why interculturality is one of our core competencies and a key factor in our daily service delivery. As we provide these services in 26 languages, many of our more than 2500 colleagues need to have an international background. We are hiring them because we need their skills and we are very proud that over 90 nations are represented at our hub! With regard to our remuneration, we are bound by a collective agreement, which is freely accessible in our Intranet. We are constantly keeping an eye on upcoming collective bargaining. Therefore, we are proud that only recently a tariff increase of a total of 6,5 % was achieved! The first half will be adjusted on 01.01.2023 and the second half on 01.01.2024. In addition, it was decided that we will make full use of the possibility of paying the tax-free inflation money of 3.000,00 €. This amount is also paid out in two parts - the first part reached our employees already in December. In addition to our collectively agreed and performance-related remuneration, we also offer a wide range of benefits that are not reflected in the monthly salary payment, such as a large selection of training opportunities, a modern and flexible working culture, corporate benefits and much more. We are a bit surprised that this aspect was not included in your evaluation, as many employees appreciate these advantages very much. To learn more about your personal experiences at our hub, it would be very important to us to talk to you directly. You are very welcome to send us an email to eb-berlin@basf.com. All the best, Mareike G. – Local HR Berlin #TeamBASF

Pros

Great benefits, hybrid & remote roles, great colleagues to work with. Great vacation /time off. Helpful colleagues

Cons

Reorganizations (roughly 3 years), IT roles dwindling in North America(moving to India), teams can get very silo-ed, “not my role” = not helping you (when you are looking for answers/assistance), currently seeing a lot of movement out of New Jersey (roles moving to other parts of the country), some organizational charts can be confusing, huge organization(can be difficult at times pinpointing the exact team you may need to work with)
