I worked at BASF full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

401k match 6%, many plans to choose from for health care, many corporate perks and discounts, flexible virtual offices for many roles, vast education and development opportunities both online and instructor led, mentoring opportunities, excellent brand name for

    Cons

Many separate business units which are are run separately, but all expected to utilize same platform services i.e., ehs, credit, purchasing, hr, etc. One size fits all mentality toward business at different stages along the supply chain. Some businesses made raw materials or chemicals and some made finished good, all were treated same.

    Advice to Management

Focus on becoming more customer centric and not just talk about it. Add reliability in front of maximizing capacity.
