Pros
BG Medical provides a detailed sales model that really works for our target market, good training, freedom of schedule, high commissions, and managers that don't micromanage. I have found both the managers and VP of sales to be creative and helpful in cold calling, furthering business, and coming up with promotional programs for hospitals. The product is the best on the market, and every year more studies/data are provided to reps to back up our claims. There is a lot of upside opportunity here.
Cons
You have to be ok with hotel travel a couple of times per week. There is a minimum # of overnights on your contract when you take the job.
