Pros

TL;DR: Amazing people, engaging work, remote capability, PTO is incredible, plenty of upward mobility. The work is continuously changing, which some might view as a con, but for anyone that works in QA, you know how dull it can get if you are testing the same exact things over and over. I get to work on challenging projects, and it is honestly so fulfilling. I also get to work remotely for most of the week, which is such a significant change from previous jobs where they get angry if you ask to work from home. Along those same lines, you can go out and travel freely since you can do your work from anywhere in the world as long as you have good enough internet. We have someone from the Chicago office out in Oregon for a month just because they wanted to have a change of scenery. Teams are constantly adapting to change and willing to work on shortcomings. We have team retrospectives where we share openly on what went well and what didn't. We then come up with strategies and apply those to the next sprint and rinse and repeat until the issue is resolved. Everyone in the company has a voice, and at least on my team, we constantly look for ways to improve our processes and relationships with one another. The last huge thing I want to touch on is that there are mapped out ways (at least for the engineers) to earn a promotion and move up. A lot of companies, including the ones I used to work at, had the issue of what achievements warranted a promotion. BRD does not have this issue in IT. The testing team does not have a specific document for how to get promoted yet, but it is relatively easy to apply the engineering roles as a blueprint for what we need to do.

Cons

I do not get to see the people I work closely with very often, and that makes me sad. It's not a terrible con, especially since we are always on video conference call with each other; I just cannot think of anything else.
