Everyone at Balcones was kind, supportive, and professional. I have nothing negative to say about the people or company. They have an excellent culture. Pay was great for sales and promising commission.

Working in recycling is dirty, smelly work, whether you're working in the facility full time or not. It's just something to be aware of, if you are new to the industry.

Promotes a work/life balance. Promotes a safety culture. Promotes a team work environment. Everything you want in a position/job company they will sell, to hire employees.

General Manager, entering equipment not locked out, and cleaning machinery, (Friends with Area Manager) swept under rug. HR calls employees personal cell phones after hours (11pm) at night, reported next morning to management and ignored. Employees both hourly/salary work 60-70 hours a week. Employees are disciplined for emergencies outside of work, probation appointments, calling off sick, and taking care of loved ones. Employees are not held accountable for performance.
