Poor Management - Employee Banyan Tree Employee Review

Banyan Tree Krabi has shockingly poor management. The company is plagued by hierarchical issues. The Director of HR fails to support employees, and the GM is not only inexperienced but also abusive and a relentless micromanager. In this social setting, there is a noticeable tendency to favor higher-ranking individuals, leading to a lack of harmony in the workplace. Each department prioritizes its own interests without building collaboration across teams. While there is an outward display of "unity" during visits from senior executives, it often feels superficial, lacking genuine mutual support and cooperation. People get promoted either by default or based on their favorability with higher-ranking executives. There are lots of unproductive meetings, and you face criticism if you don't work at least 12 hours a day. Absolutely not recommended.
