Discount is okay. Some of the retail staff is helpful. Clothes are dope! Celebrity sightings is cool too. Marketing team is nice.
Cons
Compensation is mediocre compared to other brands. Commission is a joke, no real incentive to sell. Corporate is probably the biggest joke. Originally corporate team was overseas and now it’s all US based. The lady who is in charge has no idea how to run this business, is lowkey racist, and only hires white or white passing people. HR is in her pocket, they don’t do anything to protect the employees. Previous HR was a lot better, more supportive. Lots of changes and reactive behavior. Expectations on selling are super high but no tools are given to succeed. BAPE has such a high turnover rate and it has gotten worse since the us became more corporate focused. Corporate leaders use store leaders to do tasks they do not want to do and lies about potential growth opportunities.
