1. They are uneducated and not well versed in the engineering department. For a startup, their start is not going really up. the management just wants you to work and work with less pay, and then they fool you for a salary hike. they cut money from the original salary and make excuses. It's the very cheap and low class for a company. 2. They assign work on weekends and holidays too. employees have to literally inform about the holidays and ask for leave. company people are not to be trusted and a liar. 3. don't pay salary full and delay paying salary.
