The team were bullies; as a previous employee of Barnardo's I was bullied by some of the team there. There's definitely a pack mentality going on, where if you don't have the same mindset as them then you're ignored and treated very unfairly. It massively impacted my mental health, I was signed off work and didn't return to the business.
It was dealt with terribly, I escalated the problems I was facing to HR and nothing was done, no further action was taken against the individuals who had treated me in this way.
