Pros
Barnes has amazing benefits; extensive paid vacation (More than I'd ever seen), great insurance options, the works. The facility is also very clean, cleaner than other aerospace locations I've worked.
Cons
The culture is abysmal. The management fails to follow through on the most simple of tasks, to the extent that the facility recently failed an audit from Rolls Royce for the exact same major findings (traceability) as the year before, losing their certification and forcing a stop to production. Furthermore, a quick working pace seems almost discouraged. The struggle to stay occupied at work was daily, causing people to stretch a 30 minute process over the span of hours to avoid management, whose sole purpose was ensuring the production floor -looked- like it was functioning.
