Pros

Staff and management are very friendly and really supportive, Good canteen. Some projects are fairly simple and straight forward depending on the client. Well maintained fleet and fuel card.

Cons

Poor pay for the role Difficult to claim expenses (Pretty critical in a field based role) cumbersome timesheets which need to be manually emailed every week to be processed Some projects poorly planned, lots of issues with permits and stock orders. Working hours can be very long.

Pros

A real forward thinking company, the direction that Scott is leading the business is really exciting. We are developing the sectors we are working in, widening the skill sets of our teams, starting the work on true internal development and really starting to listen to the boots on the ground in terms of what and how we can improve. Barron McCann is built on their people, we have lots of people that have been with the business a very long time and the support they give and the knowledge they have is second to none. We then have lots more people that haven't been here as long, but are coming with great ideas and process improvements which is really helping drive the business forward. I have been here a month so far and I am genuinely pinching myself as I have never loved a role and company as much as I have here.

Cons

I genuinely can not find one yet. Possibly the Barron McCann stone - with the subsidised canteen and the great menu offers - I am having to work hard to resist the great value hot dinners at lunch time.
