Cons
Ethos is not holistic - different schools have different ethos. Managers’ actions in places (not all) have been pedagocically damaging - a concern in today’s climate of client led Education - these actions reflect poor understanding of Specialist subjects they manage, poor people management - or the point of dangerous management where the impact could destroy a person. Proper training is required and to be invested in NOT just a tick box online “bias” training - good as a part of wider training. These actions also reflect a distinct poverty of leadership/ability to lead a cohesive and coherent valued team.
