Pros
-The employee discount for Limited Brands Stores -The contests -My store always had some treats/candy to take home during holidays -Co-workers were nice to work with -Got the days off that I needed and even though I was scheduled to have call-ins, I never had to worry about having to come in
Cons
-Management too pushy to "sell, sell, sell" to customers. As a customer myself, I hate when sales people constantly market. It gets really annoying. Corporate really needs to rethink their marketing strategies. - Sometimes I could tell mgt. would secretly talk about me and my co-workers' performance and then have one of the CL's come and "coach" us. I wish that they would just be honest and upfront, instead of so sneaky. - Not enough hours. It was really aggravating because they would schedule me for a certain amount of days, usually 4 and I would work only one or two of them. It was annoying because at the time I was traveling back and forth to visit my family for the holidays and I would leave them early to come back only for mgt to tell me I didn't have to come in! sigh. -Not enough opportunity for growth. -Didn't train employees well. Mgt. expected new hires to understand everything perfectly and do it correctly every time and it just wasn't realistic at all. -This isn't a good job for those who are more introverted or reserved, because they expect you to hound people every second, and if you're like me, you won't like it at all. I felt like I was bothering people. I don't mind greeting people, telling them the deals, and asking them if they need help, but I won't stalk them every second around the store!
